Summary

Sixteen year old Alessia has been having strange dreams about transforming into a mystical falcon. She soon finds out she's part of the Benandanti ancient group of warriors that have the ability to separate their souls from their bodies and take on the form of animals. Alessia also discovers her boring town is the place where an epic struggle between the Benandanti and the Malandanti is happening. As Alicia is drawn into the Benandanti's quest to control the magic in the forest she is forced to make difficult decisions.
