Summary
John Thinnes , a Chicago detective, and Jack Caleb, a well-known psychologist, are friends . They both have known the horrors of war in Vietnam. When a Vietnamese woman is killed in Chicago, Detective Thinnes is assigned to the case, but is soon taken off when it is learned that he knew the woman in Saigon. It soon becomes clear that the reason for the woman's murder may be a past connection to a powerful drug lord from Saigon
