Summary

Smoke Jensen was once considered the fastest gun in the West, but has tried to leave all that behind. Captain Richard King had built a sprawling cattle empire called the Santa Gertrudis, but while King was in Mexico a Union Army raiding party burned his ranch to the ground and killed everyone on it. Now, fifteen years later Jack Brant, the officer in charge of the raiding party is back and looking to raise more havoc.
