Summary
Gabrilis is a beekeeper on the Greek island of Arcadia. The Temple of Apollo has been in his care for decades, but when crooked developers take over the island, he is persuaded to sign it away. Later he meets a violent, lonely death. When detective Hermes Diaktoros finds his friend's body, the police quickly name him prime suspect. But with developers threatening Arcadia's most ancient sites, many stand to gain from Gabrilis's death. Hermes resolves to avenge his friend and find the culprit
