Summary
In the working-class town of Scranton, Pennsylvania, life was an adventure for a boy named Joe Biden. Whether it was playing ball with Charlie, Larry, and Tommy; bike riding with his sister, Valerie; or romping through the yard with King, his black German shepherd, every day was better than the next for a kid called Joey. Joey was a born leader, full of courage and always ready to take a dare, even if it meant climbing a flagpole. Later inspired by the civil rights movement, he decided to run for public office to stand up for those who could not stand up for themselves. Wherever Joe Biden went, he made a difference, and he still is making a difference now as a presidential candidate. This is his story
